2013 BENNETT AWARD
 
ATLANTA, GA -- Wisconsin Parkside's Luke Reigel is the recipient of the 2013 Jack Bennett award .
 
The other finalists for the award include Bobby Collins (Winston Salem State), Keith Dickson (Saint Anselm), Josh Schertz (Lincoln Memorial) and Bob Semling (UW-Stevens Point).
 
The Jack Bennett Award, which represents winning with integrity, is named in honor of the former head coach at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Bennett won five Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference titles, made five NCAA tournament appearances and finished his career with back-to-back national championships. He's the program's all-time winningest coach with a 200-56 record. In 28 seasons as head coach he compiled a record of 480-175.

The recipient of the 2023-24 award will be announced in April, in Phoenix, AZ site of the men's NCAA Basketball Championship.

The Jack Bennett award is presented annually to a non-division I head coach who achieves success on the basketball court, while displaying great moral integrity off of the court as well, as voted on by the awards committee.  

Coaches at the division II, division III, NAIA and JUCO ranks are eligible for the award.

The 10-member voting committee consists of current and former head coaches, as well as two senior staff members of collegeinsider.com.

The award is presented annually at the site of the men's Division I NCAA basketball championship.
