THE 2018 BENNETT AWARD

BOSTON, MA -- Wisconsin-Oshkosh head coach Pat Juckem is the recipient of the 2018 Jack Bennett award.

Jukem led UW-Oshkosh to the Division III National Championship game and finished with a record of 25-8 record, which was most wins for the program since 2003.  The 95-88 OT win over Augustana College moved UW-Oshkosh past the quarterfinal round for the first time in program history.

This season marked the third consecutive trip to the NCAA postseason. The Titans previously made three straight NCAA appearances just once (1996-98) prior to his arrival. Under Juckem, the Titans have finished among the top three teams in the conference standings for three straight seasons for the first time since 1966-68.

Juckem won his 200th career game as he guided the Titans to a 73-57 victory over Ramapo College (N.J.) during the semifinal round of the NCAA Division III Tournament.

The Jack Bennett Award, which represents winning with integrity, is named in honor of former head coach at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.

Bennett won five Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference titles, made five NCAA tournament appearances and won two national championships. He’s the program’s all-time winningest coach with a 200-56 record. In 34 seasons as head coach he compiled a record of 480-175.
